Rowena A. Robles, PhD, has over 20 years of experience as a university lecturer, evaluator, and fund development professional for community-based and philanthropic organizations. Coming from an interdisciplinary PhD program, Rowena can assist graduate students in all social sciences, as well as those in education and the humanities, with a specific focus on ethnic studies. She integrates coaching around time management, impostor syndrome, and effective communication with faculty into her work with students. Dr. Robles possesses extensive skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Additionally, Rowena has experience in designing and conducting research studies, evaluations, organizational assessments, and participatory action research projects from the proposal stage through to completion. Having worked at The Dissertation Coach from 2014 to 2021, Rowena has provided guidance, assistance, and support to hundreds of students, helping them reach the finish line of their dissertations and theses. She is excited to be back with TDC. Her degrees include a B.A. in Economics and Sociology, an M.A. in Education Policy, and a PhD in Ethnic Studies, all awarded by the University of California, Berkeley.
