Jessica L. Parker is a researcher and educator who is passionate about demystifying the research and writing process for scholars. Her research interests are at the intersection of technology and education; she is particularly intrigued by the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence for academic purposes. Jessica has worked with a diverse range of researchers and scholars, and continues to supervise Doctor of Health Sciences students at MCPHS University. During her tenure as a full-time academic, Jessica taught healthcare research methods to nursing students and was a Senior Research Director with Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Northeastern University School of Nursing. She is a reviewer for the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare, Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved, and Journal of Professional Nursing.
Outside of her professional life, Jessica is an avid reader, surfer, and snowboarder. She aspires to establish the philanthropic arm of The Dissertation Coach, aiming to help women worldwide gain access to quality education. Jessica firmly believes in the power of educating girls and young women and envision a world changed for the better through their empowerment.
