Jenny Lee, PhD – Dissertation Consultant
Jenny earned her PhD in Higher Education and Organizational Change and her M.Ed. in Student Affairs from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She also double majored in sociology and communication studies as an undergraduate at UCLA. Her research has focused on international students, cross-border education, undocumented communities, and student support for first-generation and transfer students. Jenny has also worked at research institutes (RAND Corporation and Prevention Research Center) on issues of public health and has published multiple reports on Asian American and Pacific Islander representation on television. She has over a decade of experience in education administration, student services, academic and college admissions advising, teaching, and curriculum development in both the United States and South Korea. Jenny is especially committed to helping students with the challenges they may face in their program, whether it’s imposter syndrome and perfectionism, planning research design, and applying to funding opportunities. She understands the importance of compassion and support during the research and writing process.
