Our two-day Literature Review Bootcamp is designed to equip graduate students with the skills and confidence to conduct a comprehensive and effective literature review.
Why is writing a literature review so challenging?
The literature review in a dissertation or thesis proposal provides a foundation of knowledge on your research topic, situates your research in the context of existing literature, and makes a case for why your research is needed. The literature review must align with the other major components of the dissertation proposal (i.e., problem statement, purpose statement, research questions, and theoretical framework). To write a literature review, you must learn how to effectively search, organize, analyze, and synthesize literature. Many graduate students struggle to master these skills and find themselves trapped in cycles of revision.
Who should attend? Our Literature Review Bootcamp is the perfect fit for graduate students who are preparing to write or in the midst of writing their literature reviews.

I’m a researcher and educator who is passionate about demystifying the research and writing process for scholars. My research interests are at the intersection of technology and education; I am particularly intrigued by the potential of generative AI for academic purposes, exploring how this technology can revolutionize how we conduct research, teach, and learn. I invite you to follow my research journey on ResearchGate.
I have worked with a diverse range of researchers and scholars, and I continue to teach Doctor of Health Sciences students at MCPHS University. Before launching my consulting practice, I was a Senior Research Director and managed several grants with the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Northeastern University School of Nursing. My Ed.D. (Northeastern University, 2017) is in Organizational Leadership. I am a reviewer for the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare, Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved, and Journal of Professional Nursing.
